I have finally gotten pictures of the black squirrels that live down the road from us. I have been trying to get pictures of them for quite some time now. We saw them out playing the evening when we came home. So I walked down with my camera. The lady that lives down at the edge of the road came out and talked to be. She said she had gotten them from a guy in greenfield back in 2003. She started out with two and they had a litter but last year no one really got to see them. This year they had another and were out more often. She is so proud of them too. It made her happy that I was taking pictures of them and that people stop to see them.
I have been looking up the info on these black squirrels and it turns out that they aren't really new. Just new to my area. As they would be in any area in the united states because they come from Canada. So here is a link.
